In this course, I have provided the Free Online Skill Test of the first 22 Transcriptions of Kailash Chandra Magazine Volume 2, along with 100 WPM Audio Dictation. First, listen carefully to the Audio and write the Dictation in Shorthand. After that, read your own written Shorthand and click on Start Test to begin your Test.
Once you complete the Test, the Time will stop automatically. If you finish typing before the given Time, you can simply click on End Test and your Test will be completed. After that, the complete Result will be displayed below. You will be able to see how many Words you Typed correctly, how many Words were incorrect, what Percentage of the Dictation you Typed correctly, and which mistake you made in which Word. Process of Giving the Skill Test
The process of taking the Skill Test is very simple, as you can see here. I have added a total of 22 Transcription Tests, matching the 22 Transcriptions available in Kailash Chandra Volume 2. You can select any one of these Transcriptions, and the Test will open. The Audio will be available at the top.
It may take some time to complete the Dictation, so first Play the Audio, listen carefully, and write it in your Shorthand Copy. Once you have finished writing, keep your Shorthand Copy on the left Side of your Keyboard. Then, by looking at your Shorthand, Type the Dictation back in English, that is, in English Words.
After Typing the complete Dictation, you can click on End Test. If you take more Time and are unable to finish within the 60 Minutes Timing provided for the Test, it will automatically End, and your Result will be displayed.
In the Result Section, you will get a Side by Side View of your Test. Here, you can check how many Words you Typed correctly, how many were incorrect, the Total Number of Words, how many Half Mistakes you made, how many Full Mistakes occurred, and your Overall Right Percentage.
Below this, you can also check exactly which mistake you made in which Word. The complete List of mistakes will be provided there, making it much easier for you to Evaluate your Performance. You can also Export the complete Result as a PDF, so that you can keep it Safe with you permanently.
